Hotel Kiljan is a unique hotel with 40 comfortable deluxe rooms. It’s located in the centre of Hafnarfjordur, one of the oldest trading towns in Iceland, only 15 minutes drive from Reykjavik Centrum. Hotel Kiljan offers free parking, high speed internet access and conference facilities of various sizes with standard equipment in all meeting rooms.

Despites its central location it’s located in the quiet and comfortable part of the old town which from the 13th century was one of the central trading harbour in Iceland.

The theme of Hotel Kiljan is the art of printing. The main building of the hotel served as a printing house for over 60 years and displays a unique collection of old book binding tools, fonts / types and small machinery to keep the history alive.

The hotel has a library of books which where printed there and also other interesting reading material for guests to read when they want to relax after a busy day visiting Iceland.
